The Office of the Auditor General (OAG) of Puntland respects the privacy of every visitor to this website. This page explains what information the website handles and how it is used.

What we collect

  • Browsing: this website does not require an account and does not use advertising or tracking cookies.
  • Contact messages: if you contact us, we receive the details you choose to send (name, email, message) and use them only to respond to you.
  • Corruption reports: reports are received and handled confidentially by the OAG. You may report anonymously. Information in a report is used only for the assessment and investigation of the matter reported.

Whistleblower confidentiality

The OAG is fully committed to protecting the identities of whistleblowers and the confidentiality of the information they provide. Access to reports is restricted within the OAG. If you wish to remain fully anonymous, do not include identifying details in your report, send it from an email account that does not identify you, or report by phone or in person.

Sharing

We do not sell or share visitor information with third parties. Information from a corruption report may be shared with competent authorities only where required for investigation or legal proceedings.

Document downloads

Published reports and laws may be downloaded freely. Standard technical logs (such as web server access logs kept by our hosting provider) are used for security and operations only.
