Purpose of the Event
The ceremony presented the OAG's performance over the past year and clarified the direction and priorities of the audit plan for the coming years, strengthening transparency, accountability, and good governance across Puntland's public institutions.
An open panel discussion was also held, analysing existing challenges, development opportunities, and the most effective ways to implement the audit plan, with a productive exchange of views and recommendations.
Officials who addressed the ceremony emphasised the importance of continuous oversight of government revenue and expenditure, noting that the new plan will play a major role in protecting public assets and strengthening accountability.
